The hotel is located in the center of the charming Alfama district, just a 10-minute walk from Sao Jorge castle and a 5-minute walk from Miradouro Das Portas view point. Some guests mentioned that the hotel is located on a hilly area, making it challenging for people with mobility issues to walk up and down the hills.

I loved how this place is located near all the interesting spots that I wanted to see. It was so convenient to walk around and explore the area, from the steep and cobbled streets to the waterfront. The service here was exceptional, with 24-hour room service, housekeeping, laundry and car hire. I really appreciated the warm welcome drink upon arrival and the staff who helped me with tours and ticket assistance.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

There was one minor issue with the location. While the hotel was set in a charming and historic district, it was situated on a steep hill.

Issues with the coffee machine and air conditioning, although they were promptly resolved when reported. Breakfast lacked vegetables and had small portions.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, situated in the charming Alfama district of this city. It was quiet and peaceful, yet within a minute's walk to several local bars. The 28 tram stop was also conveniently located just 2 minutes away. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a pod coffee machine for added convenience. The breakfast menu had a wide variety of options, including meat, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola. The quality and freshness of the food were excellent. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, always on hand to provide tips and advice on the area.
